President and Co-Owner

One of the leading physical therapists in the region, R. Shawn Tucker has effectively assisted clients for more than 20 years with a wide range of injuries, dysfunctions and ailments.

A graduate in health sciences from Georgia State University, he worked as senior staff member for the University of Chicago Hospitals and Barnes Jewish Christian Healthcare Systems, and served as physical therapist for the U.S. Olympic Sailing Team.

Shawn is a member of Midwest Independent Rehab Association. Regular guest teacher at the Washington University School of Physical Therapy. Member of the Advisory Board of Cancer Community of St. Louis. Recipient of the 2007 Michael Edlin Award for outstanding service to the HIV/AIDs community. Co-author of several research studies on physical therapy and exercise for people living with chronic disease.


Dr. Harasha received his doctor of Chiropractic degree and Acupuncture certification from Logan University in 2000. He graduated valedictorian of this class. Brian specializes in gentle models of chiropractic such as Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Logan Basic and instrument adjusting. He practices a Traditional Chinese Medicine form of acupuncture as well as a modern version of acupuncture termed Meridian Therapy.


Dr. Harasha approaches his patients holistically and thoroughly investigates their health goals taking into account diet, lifestyle, mental peace, emotional balance and spiritual awareness. His certification in general Functional Medicine often assists his patients in finding the root cause of their distress.


He specializes in general well-being, orthopedic care, fertility, mental health, digestive health, insomnia and chronic, difficult health challenges. He has an in depth interest in Eastern traditions such as yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Tai Chi and Qigong.


His successful academic background combined with an intuitive awareness and compassion for his patients are great allies in the pursuit of wellness.

Physical Therapist Assistant
Personal Fitness Trainer

Paula has worked in the medical field for over 19 years, with 15 years in focusing on cardiology and chronic disease. She applies a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work at Brentwood Center of Health.


With focus in medical exercise fitness training and Personal Training Certification through the ISSA, Paula bridges the gap between HealthCare and Fitness. She takes a unique approach that combines traditional physical therapy with customized fitness training to support therapeutic goals. Paula designs training programs to maintain ones’ physical well being and build strength without compromising healing. 


She values one-on-one time, and makes it a priority to get to know her clients and their personal health goals. 


In 2001, Paula received her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from St. Louis Community College - Meramec.  Paula’s education and experience give her unique insight into: 


  • Prescription exercise programs and tests for clients with single or multiple medical conditions

  • The latest developments related to chronic diseases and disabilities

  • Application of exercise programming to maximize her clients day-to-day functional mobility

  • Translation of specific symptoms of a disease or disability into an effective exercise program

  • Emphasis of practical application of fitness training rather than scientific theory

Patty Workman is a board certified physical therapist assistant (PTA) and Precision Nutrition certified nutrition coach (Pn1). Patty graduated in 2013 from STLCC Meramec with a PTA associate degree. As a PTA, Patty works with patients to improve their quality of life through exercise, postural alignment and self care training, balance training, hands on manual therapy, functional and return to sport training. As a nutrition coach, Patty helps clients develop and progress towards their personal wellness goals by empowering them to take responsibility for their own health through habit change and a healthy relationship with themselves and food. Patty holds a 4th Dan (degree) black belt in WTF taekwondo. In her spare time she volunteers at a TKD school teaching a few days a week. She also enjoys RVing and riding dirt bikes.

Cynthia (Cindy) C. Komes, MA, PT, COMT
Physical Therapist

Cindy Komes has the exceptional ability of using her energy, strength, and knowledge to achieve optimal results for her patients for 33 years and counting! She has been know to make huge strides with her patients that have found themselves unsuccessful after conventional therapies. She attributes these outcomes to spending one-on-one spare time with her patients, listening, and evaluating in order to determine the best "hands-on" manual therapy approach.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, 1988

Masters of Arts in Human Performance, University of Houston at Clear Lake, 1988

Over 1,200 hours of continuing education in articular (joint), soft tissue and neural mobilization, including a certificate in manual therapy

Massage Therapist

Jim has dedicated nearly 30 years to studying, mastering and employing a wide range of holistic practices, and prides himself on being an avid life learner as well. Jim is nationally certified to the Diplomat level with the (NCCOM) in Acupuncture and has a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and holds licenses in Missouri in both Acupuncture and massage therapy.  He has been both adjunct instructor for the Southern Illinois School of Medicine and consulting Acupuncturist of SUI fertility treatment program.  

He specializes in CranioSacral therapy (trained to Advanced levels), Total Body Balancing, Sotai and Lymphatic drainage and is a presenter for the Upledger Institute.  Acupuncture wise, he blends Dr. Tans Balance Method, Japanese meridian styles, and European Auricular Therapy and is certified in Battlefield Acupuncture.  He is a lifelong martial artist with a certification in Qi gong therapies.  Jim is an avid life long learner with a wide array of interests from martial arts instructor to Cajun cooking. He also is a very proud of his two fur babies just ask. 

He is a compassionate and consummate professional who would love to help you improve your life in Mind, Body and Spirit.

Massage Therapist

Julia Clements, LMT, BA, MA, MAT is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and former K-12 and college teacher of 17 years. Her love for supporting others, and passion for massage therapy makes Julia the perfect addition to our team of healing practitioners. Julia is a graduate of The Healing Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri where, upon completion of her program, has already worked extensively on the public in their student clinic. Julia is incredibly intuitive and skillful, specializing in Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage.
